P! Blog: Third day (and night) of shooting
Posted on August 1st, 2005 in P! Blogs

Day three, or more like night three into day four, is now a part of Troma history. Another chapter of “let’s make some art” accomplished… Kate Graham (”Wendy”) and Jason Yachanin’s (”Arbie”) heart-stirring talent came to life through the pulchritudinous moonlit night. On their final night together before she leaves for college, Arbie expressed his immortal love to Wendy; A sad day for our dear Arbie, but the prince of romance came through for his beloved Wendy, creating supreme, drunken utopia in a graveyard. In Tromaville, true love requires certain compromises. Gravestones, wardrobe malfunctions, and uninvited visitors mean little when you’re young, drunk, and horny - especially horny. The Native American burial ground on which they were “resting” has been disturbed in more ways than one. Nostalgia, foreshadowing, and utter horror has officially begun.

Sereboff signing off…The young and energized Lloyd Kaufman just arrived at the home of the chicken zombies and is ready for his daily run. Mind you, Lloyd spent the night into day directing Wendy and Arbie…Where he gets his energy, I have no idea. There he goes…gotta catch up.

Time to here what the artists have to say about spending 12 half-naked, chilling hours, listening to directors argue while patiently waiting on damp ground and fresh sod…

P.S. “If Andy Deemer married Lloyd Kaufman, he would be Andy Kaufman” (Anonymous)

[Editor’s note: Kate and Jason haven’t gotten around to writing about their set experiences, so we’ll just post Allyson’s introduction. Expect more soon — right now, Lloyd is directing the huge protest scene outside the Chicken Bunker, with the introduction of “The General”!!!!]
